Our Vision
Knowing that God has raised Jesus from the dead, and that we have been given the gift of eternal life with God, "How, then, shall we live?"
Engaging that question is most effectively done in the context of the local congregation. Advent's purpose statement and four missional directives help us connect with the question and move out into the world in mission under the theme, "God's Work. Our Hands."
Our congregational purpose statement is: Celebrating, Sharing, and Growing in God's Love.
The missional directives that come from that statement are: Celebrating God's grace through meaningful worship and fellowship; inspiring lives of faith; challenging our faith community to grow in discipleship; and committing our resources to help restore and rebuild the greater community.
