Feb 14 - Travel Day
Blessed Day of Transfiguration and Happy Valentines Day!
Today we awoke in the Eternal city, Rome, and travelled through Paris to Geneva, Switzerland. We got to the hotel late and took the bus into downtown for a fondue dinner. Walking back to the bus stop we saw John Calvin's church and the Lutheran Church in Geneva. Now I'm back and preparing for my final day on the journey, as I will be leaving the group one day early to return home in time for Ash Wednesday. Just couldn't imagine traveling all day on that day of ashes.
Tomorrow will be full, but I promise I will complete my journalling after our meetings and my "last supper" with this group of fabulous, faithful individuals who have been my traveling companions these past two weeks. Suffice it to say, we have a presiding bishop that you can be extremely proud of. And leaders who have represented you across the church in fine fashion.
