Curriculum
3-Year-Olds: Our program for 3-year-olds is primarily social in nature. The children are exposed to music, art, drama, story time and creative play in an atmosphere that incorporates Jesus and his love for us.
4- & 5-Year-Olds: Our program for these children is fairly structured. We encourage development of independence in the areas of pre-math, pre-reading, science, social studies, arts and crafts, music, letters, numbers and shape recognition. As with the 3-year-old class, a Christian perspective will be used.
5-Year-Olds: Our program is designed for the child that needs another year to grow before entering kindergarten. This is like our 4- & 5-year-old program with added activities that reinforce and build on valuable skills.
Each week includes Chapel Time, in which a pastor talks about the week's theme. Bible stories, songs, and a prayer complete this time in the sanctuary.
All classes experience field trips and educational programs from outside sources.
