Advent’s Blessing of the Animals The First Sunday in October (Oct. 2, 2011) As in previous years, Advent member veterinarians, Dr. Bo Thompson (with assistant Toni Lewin) and Dr. Bonny Dechant will provide wellness checks for your companion pets. Please bring your animals "suitably restrained” for group interactions! If you have lost a companion pet in the past year, you are invited to bring a small stone, prepared with your animal’s name or other fitting tribute, to add to the “Pet Rock Garden” by the arched bridge. Take a look and see what others have done if you need some ideas.

The following Sunday, October 9, we will offer an additional blessing of the animals at the Olathe Pet Store at 151st and MurLen. Blessings will begin at 12:30 p.m.
